11-05L.2, Sprague Dawley, Male rat liver S9 homogenate in 0.15M KCl, Freeze dried using a proprietary process that confers exceptional stability. Especially useful where an ultra-low freezer is not available and where dry ice shipments are difficult or prohibitively expensive. Ready for use after reconstitution with the labeled volume of cold, sterile, purified water. The Phenobarbital/5,6-Benzoflavone induction is the standard alternate to the Aroclor-1254 induction previously used in the Ames Assay and shows similar activity and performance. Aroclor-1254 is no longer available.
