The black screw top cap included provides a tight leak proof seal that can be tightened with one 360 degree turn. The cap is made of HDPE so while the tube is autoclavable, the cap is not so please keep this in mind for your applications.
The tube can be used in temperatures as low as -86C and up to temperatures of 110C. It is the ideal vessel for both boiling and low temperature applications.
