- Parafilm is a paraffin film with a paper backing manufactured by Bemis in Neenah, WI. Parafilm is a colorless, moisture-proof film that molds to most surfaces and is commonly use for sealing or protecting vessels such as flasks, dishes, plates, and cuvettes. The film is ductile, malleable, waterproof, odorless, and translucent.
- This parafilm is non-toxic and free from plasticizers, primarily composed of polyolefins and paraffin waxes offering good resistance against acids, alkalis and some organic solvents.
- This parafilm is also disposable and can also stretch 200%.
