Benchmark Scientific C1008-P MyFuge Mini Centrifuge, Purple Lid, 8 Position Microtube Rotor, 6000 RPM

C1008-P is a mini centrifuge that comes with a purple lid, one eight place microtube rotor, and one 32 place PCR Tube rotor. The centrifuge accelerates on lid closure to 6000 RPM and decelerates on lid opening in 1 second. The centrifuge comes with a 1 year warranty, has dimensions of 5.7 x 6.9 x 4.5 ", and weighs 2.2 pounds.

The myFuge™ Mini centrifuge is a personal centrifuge that virtually fits in the palm of your hand. Ideal for quick spin downs of microtubes and PCR tubes, the myFuge is extremely easy to use. Simply close the lid and the rotor instantly reaches 6,000 rpm. Open the lid, and the improved braking system quickly and smoothly decelerates the rotor to a complete stop in just one second.

An eight-position microtube rotor comes installed and a second rotor is also included with increased capacity for four 0.2 mL PCR strips (or 32 x 0.2ml tubes) which is stored in a convenient compartment on the bottom of the centrifuge. A new Clik-n-Lok™ rotor attachment system eliminates the requirement for set screws and tools during rotor exchange. Simply remove and attach rotors by hand, pulling or pressing the rotor onto the motor shaft.
