Details
This Z216-MK Series Hermle Regfrigerated Microcentrifuge from Benchmark Scientific package includes one 44 place rotor for 1.5/2.0 mL microtubes which nearly doubles the capacity of traditional microcentrifuges. This microcentrifuge uses a powerful compressor driven cooling system to maintain temperatures as low as -20C and is designed to reach 4C from room temperature in less than 10 minutes.
The dimensions of the microcentrifuge are 11 x 21 x 11". The microprocessor controls allows for the following:

Adjustable acceleration, deceleration
Audible End of Run Alarm

Other features include a maintenance free induction drive, motor driven safety lid-lock, splash proof display, and quiet oerations at less than 60 DB.
There are a total of 8 additional rotor options available for sale separately. These include rotors for 0.2, 0.5, 1.5, and 2.0 mL tubes, PCR Strips, Hematocrity Tubes, and 5 mL centrifuge tubes. Please see the Technical Specification document for additional rotors that are available.
