180 nmol/min/mg. Kinase activity was measured as the molar amount of phosphate incorporated into poly (Glu-Tyr) at 30°C using a concentration of 50μM [³²P]ATP in 25mM MOPS, pH 7.2, 12.5mM β-glycerophosphate, 5mM EGTA, 2mM EDTA, 25mM MgCl₂, 0.25mM DTT (added right before using).

After initial defrost, aliquot product into individual tubes and refreeze the remaining, unused enzyme quickly by snap-freezing in a dry/ice ethanol bath or liquid nitrogen, if possible.
