26-804, Ampicillin Solution, 8 mg/ml. Our Antibiotic Solutions/Discs are specifically formulated for use in bacterial mutagenicity assays. Ampicillin is used as a culture medium additive when growing pKM101-containing strains. Tetracycline is used as a culture medium additive for growth of pAQ1-containing strains (TA102). Mitomycin C, Ampicillin, Crystal Violet and Tetracycline in disc format are used in phenotype confirmation procedures set forth in the µAmes assay. For Research Use Only
