Potassium Permanganate, Crystal, Reagent, ACS, also known as permangante of potash, is an inorganic chemical compound and is a powerful oxidizing agent. It is water soluble and, when dissolved, becomes a pink to purple solution. It is commonly used in the film and television industry to create an old effect on props and as an antiseptic when diluted.
