Vector Labs Ab00818-10.0 Anti-CD70 [BU69], Human IgG1, kappa (200 μg)
Quick Overview
Murine antibodies were produced by immunising BALB/c mice using the Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia cell line WM-1. Hybridomas were generated by fusion of immunised cells with the myeloma cell line P3/NS1/1-Ag4.1 via established methods.

| Chimeric Use Statement: | This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques. |
| Specificity Statement: | This antibody binds human CD70, which is the CD27 ligand. This protein is present only on activated dendritic cells and T lymphocytes, and represents a therapeutic target of relevance for autoimmune diseases. |
| Application Notes: | BU69 has been used for FACS and immunocytochemistry analysis of the cell-surface expression levels of CD70 in renal cell carcinomas (Adam et al, 2006). It was shown in this study that cell-surface binding of BU69 to CD70 caused rapid internalisation of the cell-surface glycoprotein. |
