Application Notes:This antibody has been used in immunohistochemical analysis of frozen Peyer's patch tissue sections (Kobayashi et al, 2013). It has also been used in flow cytometric analysis of RANKL cell surface expression by Th1 and Th17 cells (Nakae et al, 2007), RANKL-transfected human embryonic kidney cells (Miyahira et al, 2003) and murine T hybridoma 2B4.11 cells (Fionda et al, 2007). Additionally, this RANKL-neutralising antibody has been used to assess the effects of RANKL inhibition on myoepithelial cell proliferation in mammary organoid culture (Haslam et al, 2008). Treatment of collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) mice with this antibody has been shown to reduce bone loss at the site of inflammation (Kamijo et al, 2006), while administration to C57BL/6J mice induced transient tibia and skull bone growth arrest and irreversible blockage of tooth eruption (Lezot et al, 2015).
