| Application Notes: | This neutralizing antibody binds the the envelope protein of the Murray Valley encephalitis virues in the ectodomain III region. This mAb is reported to block haemagglutination. The competitive binding of the mAb to envelope protein was checked with ELISA (PMID:1703213). Recombinant MVEV E-DIII proteins were detected by M2-8E7 in a western blot assay (PMID: 29083957). This antibody is also reported to be used in immunoprecipitation for the identification of E proteins from cell lysates (PMID: 9770429, 9499070). |
