Chimeric Use Statement:This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG2a format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Specificity Statement:This antibody is specific for the amino acids 778-910 of the HCN1 protein. HCN1 is a hyperpolarization-activated ion channel exhibiting weak selectivity for potassium over sodium ions. Contributes to the native pacemaker currents in heart (If) and in neurons (Ih).
Application Notes:This antibody was used in a immunoblotting experiment on mouse neural tissue (Arimitsu et al, 2009; PMID:19563776). Immunohistochemistry was preformed on forebrain tissue of mice using this antibody (Zhou et al, 2013; PMID:23377220). The ganglion tissue of CBA/CaJ mice was used in a immunocytochemistry experiment using this antibody (Liu et al, 2014; PMID:24558054). Immunogold labeling was preformed on coronal sections of the brain of mice using this antibody (Huang et al, 2017; PMID:28071723). This antibody was used in a immunoblotting experiment on rat retinal ganglion cells (Stradleigh et al, 2011; PMID:21456027). Immunofluorescence was preformed on the brain of mice using this antibody (Kole et al, 2015; PMID:26269648).
