Together with the phosphatase EPM2A/laforin, appears to be involved in the clearance of toxic polyglucosan and protein aggregates via multiple pathways. |

Immunoprecipitation experiments were preformed with this antibody on neuronal cultures of either malin or laforin deficient mice (Upadhyay et al, 2017; PMID:28063983).
