Chimeric Use Statement: This chimeric mouse antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Hamster, Armenian IgG format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for mouse gamma and delta TCR. TCR part of the TCR-CD3 complex present on T-lymphocyte cell surface that plays an essential role in adaptive immune response. When antigen presenting cells (APCs) activate T-cell receptor (TCR), TCR-mediated signals are transmitted across the cell membrane by the CD3 chains CD3D, CD3E, CD3G and CD3Z.
Application Notes: Alloreactive CD3'CD4- CD8- TCR y/6+ Tcell lines were used for a cytolytic assay. During the assay this antibody was used (Rellahan et al, 1991; pmid:1703211). Flow cytometry was preformed on the spleen cells of mice using this antibody (Koenecke et al, 2009; pmid:19130484). Flow cytometry was preformed on lymphoid cells of arthritic mice using this antibody (Peterman et al, 1993; pmid:8245484). A proliferation assay was preformed on inguinal lymph nodes from arthritic mice. The mice were treated with this antibody (Peterman et al, 1993; pmid:8245484).
