| Application Notes: | To characterise the binding of the mouse version of this antibody to tyrosine-phosphorylated protein, immunoblotting on tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins from CEFs, NIH 3T3, Rat-1, HOS and 10W was performed. Furthermore, immunoprecipitating on the same samples was preformed. The antibody showed a reaction in both experiments and has cross-reactivity (Kanner et al, 1990; pmid:2110361). Cell lysates from CE cells infected with RCAS/RCAS-FRNK/RCAS-FAK were immunoprecipitated using the mouse version of this antibody. Furthermore, the immunoprecipitated proteins are western blotted using this antibody (Richardson and Parsons, 1996; pmid:8606775). |
