| Specificity Statement: | The antibody is specific for human NKp46. The antibody cross-reacts with macaque NK46 but does not cross-react with mouse NKp46. NKp46 is a receptor expressed by NK cells. |
| Application Notes: | The antibody was used to immunoprecipitate NKp46 molecules from NK and COS-7 cells (Pessino et al., 1998; PMID 9730896 and Cantoni et al. 1999; PMID: 10049942). NK cells were analyzed for NKp46 surface expression by immunofluorescence and Flow Cytometry analysis using the antibody (Sivori et al., 1999; PMID: 10359120). The antibody binding to NKp46 promoted an increase of cytolytic activity in NK cells (Sivori et al., 1997; PMID: 9314561 and Sivori et al., 1999; PMID: 10359120). |
