| Application Notes: | The specificity of the IgG1 format was confirmed by ELISA analysis (Tsekhanovskaya et al. 1993; PMID: 7505512). The affinity constants of the chimeric, scFv and parental antibody were evaluated by ELISA. The affinity constants of the chimeric and scFv were respectively, two and three times higher than the ones of the parental antibody. The parental, chimeric and scFv version exhibited binding characteristics similar to parental antibody. The chimeric and scFv versions were able to neutralize TBEV infectivity in vitro. The parental antibody showed an IC50 titer of 11.5
