| Chimeric Use Statement: | This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format for improved compatibility with existing reagents assays and techniques. |
| Specificity Statement: | This antibody binds human beta-catenin. The human β-catenin acts as a multi-functional protein that plays a very important role in cell adhesion and Wnt signaling pathway mediated gene expression regulation. Β-catenin on the cell membrane can be combined with the cytoplasmic domain of E-Cadherin (E-CAD) to form an e-cadherin / β-catenin complex, which mediates mutual adhesion between the same type. It acts as a key regulatory molecule in the Wnt signaling pathway and plays an important role in the occurrence / evolution of the embryonic development and tumor. |
| Application Notes: | The binding characterization of this antibody was done using ELISA. The original mouse IgG1 antibody binds human B-catenin with an affinity constant of 4.96 X 10^(9) M^(-1). This antibody was also used in the immunohistochemical analysis of colorectal carcinoma and pancreatic cancer tissues. The immunohistochemical staining pattern of this antibody is similar to commercially available antibody CAT-5H10 (CN112457400). |
