| Specificity Statement: | This antibody binds human glypican 3 (GPC3).Glypican-3 is an oncofetal antigen that belongs to the glypican family of glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol-anchored heparin sulfate proteoglycans. It negatively regulates the hedgehog signaling pathway and positively regulates the canonical Wnt signaling pathway. Multiple studies have revealed that GPC-3 is overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). |
| Application Notes: | The binding specificity of this antibody for human glypican 3 was determined using ELISA. The original IgG1 version of this antibody binds human GPC3 with an affinity of Kd = 2.84 pM. This antibody can bind GPC3 expressed on the surface of PLC/PRF/5 and Huh7 cells in an in vitro binding assay. This antibody also positively shows ADCC activity on PLC/PRF/5 cells expressing glypican 3 (CN109988240). |
