Chimeric Use Statement:This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG2b format for improved compatibility with existing reagents assays and techniques.
Specificity Statement:The antibody recognises human CDX2. The CDX2 protein is a homeobox transcription factor expressed in the nuclei of intestinal epithelial cells, playing an essential role in the development and function of the digestive system.
Application Notes:The antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on stomach adenocarcinoma, showing accurate staining location, clear staining, no non-specific staining, and clean background. Further, immunohistochemistry staining on stomach adenocarcinoma from 12B6 antibody and the commercial antibody, rabbit mono-ERP2764Y, were compared. Results showed the staining intensity of 12B6 antibody was significantly higher than those of ERP2764Y, showing 12B6 antibody is more sensitive. Moreover, the antibody and the commercial antibody TA347 were used for immunohistochemistry on appendix tissue. Results showed that the antibody (12B6) and the commercially available antibody (TA347) were simultaneously detected on the normal tissue chip, and the negative and positive detection results were consistent, indicating that the specificity of the antibody in normal tissue was equivalent to that of the commercially available antibody. The antibody detected human CDX2 by western blot analysis (CN113265000).
