PorM is a membrane protein that is involved in the assembly of the type IX secretion system (T9SS) in Porphyromonas gingivalis, a major bacterial pathogen that is responsible for periodontal disease in humans. |
| Application Notes: | The binding specificity of this antibody towards C-terminal part of the PorM protein was determined using ELISA. The affinity of the antibody was found to be Kd= 4.5 ± 1.0 nM (PMID: 28471361). |
