The VHH antibody recognized the bovine erythrocyte carbonic anhydrase with an affinity of 72 nM (Kd) (Desmyter et al., 2000; PMID: 11342547). The antibody did not inhibit the enzymatic activity of the antigen (Desmyter et al., 2000; PMID: 11342547 and Lauwereys et al., 1998; PMID: 9649422). |
