| Application Notes: | The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The binding affinity of the VHH fragment to SARS-CoV-2 RBD was measured by surface plasmon resonance (Kd= 35.5 nM). The VHH showed half maximal neutralization concentration (EC50) of 0.069 µg/mL and 0.2401 µg/mL against SARS-CoV-2 pseudotypes, and authentic SARS-CoV-2, respectively. Fusion of the human IgG1 Fc to the VHH improved the neutralizing activity compared to the original format of the antibody. The Fc-fused VHH demonstrated potency with EC50 of 0.538 nM.
