The antibody immunoprecipitated Bax (Iyer et al., 2016; PMID: 27217060). The crystal structure of the Fab fragment in complex with BAX was determined. The antibody activates mitochondrial Bax, but blocks translocation of cytosolic Bax (Robin et al., 2018; PMID: 30122452). |
