| Application Notes: | The original version of this antibody was used to immunophenotype mast cells through flow cytometry, while studying the cell surface markers of human skin mast cells. (Ghannadan et al., 1998; PMID:9764855). This antibody was used to block CD50, to determine the effect of the CD50 protein on PMN attachment (Sud'ina et al., 2001; PMID:11672437). This antibody was able to stain CD50 in a immunohistochemistry experiment on psoriasis tissue. This experiment was performed to study the mechanism of action of methotrexate (Yazici et al., 2005; PMID:16215763). |
