The antibody was used to localize CD8α to the cell periphery on monocytes using confocal microscopy of permeabilized PBMC. The antibody could detect CD8α by flow cytometry on CD14hi monocytes from human peripheral blood (Gibbings et al. 2007; PMID: 17678538). |
