| Application Notes: | The original version of this antibody was used for a neutralization assay by preincubating the EV71 (Human enterovirus 71) virus with the antibody and then adding Vero cells. This antibody neutralized only EV71 strains B4, B3 and C2. The structure of the fab version of this antibody was determined using cryo-EM (Lee et al., 2013; PMID:23946455). This antibody was used to immunoprecipitate EV-A71-1095 capsids from solution (Nishimura et al., 2015; PMID:26430888). |
