| Specificity Statement: | This antibody binds β-bungarotoxin (β-BGT). Beta-1-bungarotoxin is a presynaptic neurotoxin of the venom. The B chain is homologous to venom basic protease inhibitors but has no protease inhibitor activity and blocks voltage-gated potassium channels (Kv). |
| Application Notes: | The initial binding characterization of this antibody towards beta-bingarotoxin was done using ELISA. This antibody in combination with antibody 3B10B7 was used fro the development of a colloidal gold immunological lateral flow detection kit (CN114560934). |
