| Application Notes: | The original antibody was used for western blotting on overlapping recombinant type VII collagen fusion proteins and pepsinized human type VII (Lapiere et al., 1994; PMID:7530994), and on type VII collagen fusion proteins (Tanaka et al., 1994; PMID:7524608). Further this antibody was used for an ELISA on non-overlapping type VII collagen fusion proteins encompassing both non- collagenous amino- and carboxyl-terminal domains and the collagenous helical domain (Lapiere et al., 1994; PMID:7530994). This antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on normal adult human skin freshly obtained from two different sites (abdomen and arm) (Shimizu et al., 1990; PMID:2354110), on different human tumours (Wetzels et al., 1991; PMID:1867328), and on normal human tissue (Heagerty et al., 1986; PMID:3527251). |
