| Application Notes: | The original (mouse IgG1) and chimeric version (human IgG1) have been tested in various experimental settings to assess the antibody's antitumor effects. In vivo studies demonstrated significant reductions in the growth of the mammary carcinoma cell line F311 and spontaneous lung metastasis in mice vaccinated with a KLH-coupled version of the original antibody. Additionally, intravenous administration of the original antibody to mice inoculated with B16 melanoma cells resulted in a dramatic reduction in lung metastases compared to irrelevant IgG treatment. In vitro, the binding activity of the original version of the antibody was confirmed through ELISA, where the chimeric version of the antibody specifically bound to MAb P3-coated microtiter plates, while a negative control antibody showed no binding (US8758753B2). |
