Chimeric Use Statement:This full-length, reformatted human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Human scFv format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Specificity Statement:This antibody is specific for human Ephrin-B2.
Application Notes:The original antibody was used for an ELISA on ephrin B2. This antibody was used for flow cytometry on specific antisera of each member of the ephrinB family (Abéngozar et al., 2012; PMID:22446484), and on human CD138+ cells (Sasine et al., 2024; PMID:38231476). This antibody was used for a western blot on different proteins from ephrinB2 family, it showed it was only able to bind to ephrinB2. This antibody was used for surface plasmon resonance to determine its binding strength. This antibody was used for a transwell migration assay and a wound healing assay, it showed that the percentage of HUVEC migrated cells was reduced from 80% (untreated) to 50% and 40%, respectively. This antibody was used for a matrigel assay on HUVEC cells, here it inhibited the formation of tube-like structures by >40%. This antibody was used in vivo on nude or SCID mice with xenografted tumors (BxPC3, SW620, H460), it showed strong tumor inhibition for all these tumor types (Abéngozar et al., 2012; PMID:22446484). This antibody was used for blocking on BM-MSC cultures (Alfaro and Zapata., 2018; PMID:29941036). This antibody was used for a migration and methylcellulose assay in vitro, here it showed it was able to block Ephrin-B2 signalling (Krusche et al., 2016; PMID:27350048).
