| Application Notes: | The original antibody was used for an ELISA on Clostridium difficile toxin A. This antibody was used for biolayer interferometry to compare its epitope to the CDA-1 antibopdy, it showed that it bound a distinct and exposed epitope. This antibody was used for an in vitro neutralization experiment, it showed the ability to neutralize it in vitro. An humanized version of this antibody was created. The humanized version of this antibody was used for a western blot on Toxin A. The humanized version of this antibody was used for an in vivo challenge in mice, all mice survived this experiment (US9994630B2). A combination of the humanized and mouse version of this antibody was used for an in vivo challenge this showed to be an effective treatment . |
