Specificity Statement:This antibody specifically recognizes the amino acid sequence 'NGRKACLNPASPIVKKIIEKMLNSDKSN' of human CXCL1. CXCL1 primarily acts as a chemoattractant for several immune cells, especially neutrophils. Upon binding to its receptor CXCR2, CXCL1 activates various signaling pathways, including PI3Kγ/Akt, MAP kinases, and phospholipase-β. CXCL1 is an important molecule in human immune system, playing diverse roles in inflammation, cancer progression, and neurological processes.
Application Notes:This antibody can be used for the detection of human CXCl1 in plasma, urine and other samples. A combination of AbAb01-CXCL1 and AbAb10-CXCL1+AbAb14-CXCL1 can be for the detection of human CXCL1 in a sandwich assay, where AbAb01-CXCL1 was used as a coating antibody and mixture of biotinylated AbAb10-CXCL1 and AbAb14-CXCL1 was used as detection antibody. The sensitivity of detection for this combination was reported to be in the pg/ml range (US9309312B2).
