| Application Notes: | The original version of this antibody was used for an ELISA on protective antigen from Anthrax. This antibody was used for an in vivo neutralization assay, the rats were injected with 40 ug of PA, 8 ug of LF, and 4 mg of antibody, it lead to the rat surviving instead of perishing. This antibody was used for an in vitro assay on CHO cells, it showed it was able to neutralize edema toxin with 1 mg of antibody (Little et al., 1988; PMID:3384478). The structure of the original antibody was determined using x-ray crystallography (Leysath et al., 2009; PMID:19361425). |
