| Application Notes: | The original antibody (mouse IgG1) was generated and confirmed to specifically recognize GAS M protein via ELISA. A colloidal gold-labeled version was successfully employed in a lateral flow assay (LFA) for GAS M protein detection. Additionally, it was used in a colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay (GICA) to detect multiple GAS M protein serotypes (M1, M3, M5, M6, M12, M18, and M24). A sensitivity evaluation using GICA determined a minimum detection limit of 8 × 10³ CFU/mL for serotype M6 Group A Streptococcus (CN118406142A). |
