Vector Labs Ab05032-23.0 Anti-CXCL12 [113_1H12], Rabbit IgG, lambda (100 μg)
Quick Overview
This antibody was raised by paning the McCafferty naïve antibody library against human CXCL12, the discovered antibodies were then further selected for their ability to block the CXCL12-CXCR4 interaction.

| Application Notes: | This antibody was used for surface plasmon resonance on biotinylated CXCL12 immobilised on a streptavidin chip, this antibody exhibited a biphasic binding profile with an initial fast dissociation phase followed by a much slower second dissociation phase. This antibody was used in a transwell migration assay, the ability of this antibody to to inhibit CXCL12 induced migration of ovarian cancer cells. It showed that it was able to inhibit the migration of TOV-21G cells in a dose dependent manner. This antibody was tested for its ability to inhibit angiogenesis, it showed significant inhibition of tubule formation and branching in human umbilical vein endothelial cells. The mouse IgG2a version of this antibody was used for an in vivo experiment to determine its ability to block metastatic development, it showed it was active at inhibiting metastatic development in C57B1 mice transfected with B16F10 melanoma cancer cells (US10647766B2). |
