| Chimeric Use Statement: | This is a reformatted human IgG3 Fc Silent™ antibody, based on the original human IgG3 format, created for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques. |
| Specificity Statement: | This antibody is specific for human NMDAR1, it was shown that a N368Q mutation of NMDAR1 would disrupt binding. |
| Application Notes: | This antibody was used for immunofluorescence on NR1-transfected HEK cells. This antibody was used for flow cytometry on Hek cells, it showed positive staining. This antibody was used in vitro on human hippocampal neurons to determine the effect on calcium uptake, it showed a profoundly reduced NMDA-induced calcium influx (Kreye et al., 2016; PMID:27543972). This antibody was used for an ELISA on the GluN1 subunit bound to a Fc domain and the GluN1-GluN2A subunit bound to a Fc domain, it showed binding to both (Steinke et al., 2023; PMID:36866449). This antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on rat hippocampi, and mouse brains (Wagner et al., 2020; PMID:32735875, Jurek et al., 2019; PMID:31325344). This antibody was used for flow cytometry on NR1–EYFP-transfected HEK293 cells (Ly et al., 2018; PMID:30187160). |
