This antibody was tested for its ability to inhibit the complement in vitro, it showed inhibitory activity. A fusion protein of this antibody with CD59 was used in vivo on a rheumatoid arthritis mouse model, it showed the ability to inhibit inflammation in a dose-dependent relationship, further it also showed improved survivability in MRL/lpr lupus erythematosus mice (WO2021109968A1). |
