| Application Notes: | The original antibody was used for flow cytometry on swine PBMCs, human PMBCs and baboon PMBCs, no cross reactivity was observed with other species. Further the epitope is specific to swine T cells and it is present on all T cell subpopulations. This antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on swine PBMCs, it precipitated proteins of 22-24 kd and bands corresponding to T cell receptor alpha beta and gamma delta, further it was shown that the binding of this antibody is dependent on the presence of calcium (Huang et al., 1999; PMID:10503787). This antibody was fused to A-dmDT390 to create the A-dmDT390biscFv(2-6-15) immunotoxin, when administred in vivo a significant T cell depletion was observed (Wang et al., 2011; PMID:21866954). This antibody was used for an ELISA on porcine the CD3 epsilon and gamma ectodomains, it showed binding activity (Peraino et al., 2012; PMID:22672968). |
