| Application Notes: | The original antibody was used for indirect immunofluorescence on human skin, it showed cell surface binding typical of Pemphigus vulgaris. It was also shown that it could induce suprabasal skin blisters in human skin organ culture (Cho et al., 2014; PMID:24942562, Lo et al., 2016; PMID:27304671).Both an IgG1 and an IgG4 version of this antibody were used for an ELISA on Dsg3, both version showed binding of 0.015 uM and 0.021 uM. Further, both versions were used for indirect immunofluorescence on frozen human skin sections with IIF titers of 0.25-0.5 ng/uL. This antibody was also used for a live cell staining ELISA on Human oropharynx epithelial tumor cell line UM-SCC-47, it showed that it was able to bind (Lo et al., 2016; PMID:27304671). |
