The Transferpettor is the ideal tool for pipetting problematic media due to how the piston of the Transferpettor directly expels the media from the tip, wiping the tip walls completely clean.Unlike air displacement pipettes, working with viscous, foaming, high-vapor pressure liquids is made easier with negligible residual wetting, high accuracy, and reproducible results.
The Transferpettor is designed for use with problematic liquids such as these: viscous solutions up to 20,000cSt (mm2/s), high density media (up to 13.6g/cm3) like concentrated protein solutions, oils, fats, resins, and glycerin, surfactants such as Tween 20, and Mucasol, and high-vapor-pressure media (up to 500mbar) like alcohols, acetone, and hydrocarbons.
This single channel Transferpettor features manual volume adjustment between 1-5mL at 1uL increments. Operating temperature is between 15 to 40 °C. The Transferpettor comes with one tip and seal, sealing mounting/removal tool, and operating manual. This instrument and parts are not autoclavable. The Transferpettor includes performance certificate and a 1 year warranty.
